Sustain Yourself, Race Yourself...KNOW YOURSELF

The Lantau Mountain Express (LMX) and Kowloon Mountain Express (KMX) Race series are Hong Kong's only self-supported. multi-day, stage, trail-race series. Competitors need to carry everything they need to sustain themselves over two days of tough trails. Only tents and water are provided on the evening of the first day. Competitors are not allowed assistance or support of any kind.

Lantau Mountain Express (LMX) and Kowloon Mountain Express (KMX)比賽系列是香港唯一於２天內在山徑進行賽跑的比賽，　第１晚夜宿於比賽營地和參賽者自行帶備所需物品，　參賽者需要帶備的物品能夠足以應付２天艱難的比賽路程。　　

大會只提供第１晚住宿的帳篷和沿途檢查站供應飲用水。　不批准提供任何幫助於參賽者。
Asia Safety Management Ltd 2007年9月在大嶼山舉辦的LMX比賽十分成功, 2008年的KMX比賽現在正式接受報名。
KMX比賽路線 :
比賽路線覆蓋九龍和新界75公里行山路程, 起點於西北端, 第一晚宿營於新界中心點。第二天早上繼續前往比賽終點站清水灣郊野公園。

大會亦會提供1天42公里的比賽, 比賽地點和時間跟75公里第二天賽事一樣.

Thanks to everyone who took part in the in-augural Lantau Mountain Express.

The Race

The weekend was shaping up to be a complete scorcher, not ideal for a demanding trail-race, and despite the late start, due to a puncture on a support vehicle, all the racers left Hemingway's in DB Resort in high spirits. Watching the group of racers leave DB, with their fully stocked bags, hats, sunglasses and trekking poles was a fantastic sight more...
